Ground school
You have several options for ground school. If you want to study at home on your own, there are a number of companies in the aviation industry who publish DVDs, computer programs, and books. If you want to study with other students, you may want to attend a ground school through an organization such as a flight school or a local EAA chapter. This is also a very economical option. I will assist you with finding a ground school, or if you prefer, I will work with you one on one through all or part of your ground studies.
Proficiency
Are you comfortable flying a long cross country without a GPS? How about in marginal VFR or at night? We can design a program to build your proficiency in special situations such as these, whether it's for a specific flight coming up in the future, or whether it's just to improve your skill and confidence in general. For IFR pilots, we can design a program for expanding your experience.
GPS training
Wish you were more proficient with your Garmin 430? Many pilots don't understand or use all the functionality of the 430, especially for IFR procedures. I will work with you to make the most of the equipment you paid for.
Flight reviews
Traditional BFR or Wings? Either way, we can work together to identify and improve any area you may need more practice with.
Endorsements
Want to earn your complex or high-performance endorsement? We can achieve this with a thorough transition program to help you quickly learn the sytems and special flying considerations of a complex or turbocharged airplane.
ATC
Do you wish you were more comfortable interacting with ATC? We can set up a program for practicing operations in class B, C, and D airspace, using flight following, getting vectors, and how to take advantage of all available ATC services.

My availability
I am available for flight training on evenings and weekends, and I'm available for your questions anytime via email and phone. My goal as a flight instructor is to help you to achieve your goals. I will adjust my schedule and my workload as necessary. If you want to earn your pilot certificates and ratings quickly, I will work with you as much as necessary to do this. If I can't personally help you, I'm more than happy to assist you in finding an instructor who can.
